The 21st Galilee Arab Horse show was held in Tel Adashim last weekend. 195 horses took part in this show. Some of our horses, and some horses related to our breeding program, were shown with great success;
Our homebred Daania AA (GT Shardh x Dafina AA by Al Bilal) was shown for the first time. She was placed 1st in her class with 92.33 points and named Unanimous Gold Champion Filly. Our Marwan Al Shaqab son, Lamaan AA (out of Lutfina AA) was 1st in his class and Bariq Al Mas AA (Jyar Meia Lua x Al Baraqai AA by Baahir) was named Bronze Champion Yearling Colt. Our ten-year-old mare, Badriyah AA, a Straight Egyptian mare by Nader Al Jamal out of Baraaqa AA (Laheeb x Al Baraqai AA) was shown for the first time since she was shown almost ten years ago as a foal. She was 3rd in her class with great score of 91.83 points. Later in the championship she was placed as bronze in all three judges' cards, but unfortunately it was not enough to be earn a medal. We wish to thank Mussa Nijm and Uri Shaked for showing our horses in the best possible way as always.
At the Colt Foals championship, the first son of our junior stallion Shams Al Dine AA (Shams Sharav AA x Raliah by Laheeb), Exodus, hardly two months old, was 1st in his class and named Silver Champion Colt foal. Shams Al Dine AA is on lease to Elkasun Arabian of South Africa. Great start for the career of this young stallion. Alf Mabrouk to the Halak family.
Yaldiz Al Aziza, a young filly by Jyar Meia Lua was 1st in her 2019 Filly Foal class and named Bronze Champion Filly Foal. Abiyah AK, a daugther of our homebred Takiyah AA (True Colors x Tanjara) was named Silver Champion Filly. Hilal Mabrok AA, a son of GT Shardh out of Hamidah AA (Simeon Sharav x Al Halah AA) was named Silver Champion Colt. Bronze Champion stallion was the Laheeb son Wadee Al Rehan. Gold Champion Mare and highest scoring horse of the show (93.33 Points) was the extreme white mare S.A. El Sahara, by Nader Al Jamal out of Al Duqa AA (Al Maraam x Dumka).
Congratulations to all breeders and owners of these beautiful horses.
Interesting to see that both Junior Champion Filly and Senior Champion mare trace to the mare Dumka (Laheeb x Dabrowa by Probat). Dumka was chosen by us in 2001 as a young filly at Michalow Stud, as part of our agreement regarding the Laheeb lease to Michalow and Janow Stud. She was imported to our country later that year and created a family that has bred on in our program. In 2005 Dumka was named Israeli National Champion mare. She is proudly owned now by Manny Vierra of Valley Oak Arabians in the USA.
