It was a great weekend...
The West Coast Cup Arabian Horse show was held last weekend in Belgium. The show is an open show and also an Egyptian Event. Three of our home-bred horses took place at this show.
It was Shaheen's first appearance since he broke his back leg, and only a few months since his cast was removed. On the first day Shaheen (Al Ayal AA x Saniyyah RCA by Mishaal HP) was named Gold Champion Colt at the Egyptian Event and best head of the show! On day two he was named West Cost Reserve Yearling Champion Colt. He made us so proud! Turkiz AA (Al Ayal AA x JPJ Talsasha by MB Talman) was Named Egyptian Event Reserve Junior Champion filly, behind the Junior Champion Filly Nardin AH (Al Ayal AA x Nijmat Al Sachra by Al Safir AA). Nardin AH is bred and owned by AH Arabians and on lease to Al Khashab Stud from Kuwait. Both Turkiz AA & Shaheen AA are on lease to Al Baydaa Stud from Egypt. Alf Mabrouk to them!
Our third horse taking part in this show was the snow-white mare Nashwah AA (Al Ayad x Insha Sha Latifa by Ansata Selman). Nashwah took part in the open show only. This beautiful mare was 1st in her class and was named West Coast Silver Champion Mare!
We wish to thank Raphael Curti who did super job showing our horses and also the wonderful team of Privilege Arabians who worked too hard to prepare our horses for this show.
