The 2015 Israeli Egyptian Event was larger than ever; with over 140 horses taking part in this show. The quality of horses in each class was deeper than ever and it was wonderful to see how the breeding of Straight Egyptian horses in our country is improving each year.
We showed eleven of our own home-bred horses. Ten made it to the championships and eight achieved titles! Laneya AA (Shams Sharav AA x Latifah AA by Al Maraam) was 2nd in her foal class. Soraya AA (Al Ayal AA x *Saniyyah RCA) was 1st in the class and Silver Champion Filly Foal. Shaheen AA (Al Ayal AA x *Saniyyah RCA was 1st in his class and Silver Champion Colt Foal. Turkiz AA (Al Ayal AA x *JPJ Talsasha) was 1st in her class and named Bronze Champion Yearling Filly. Labibah AA (*Nader Al Jamal x Latifah AA by Al Maraam) was 1st in her class and named Bronze Champion Filly. Nader Al Shamal AA (Salaa El Dine x *Insha Sha Latifa) was 2nd in his class and named Silver Champion Yearling Colt. Laheeb Al Nar AA (Laheeb x Nashwah AA by *Al Ayad) was 1st in his class and Silver Champion Colt and Shams Sharav AA (*Simeon Sharav x *Saniyyah RCA) was 2nd in his class and named Bronze Champion Colt. Lutfina AA was first in her class and named Silver Champion Mare.
