Woke up this morning to learn about the sad news of the passing of our home-bred stallion Shahir. Born during the summer of 1993, Shahir (registered as Shahir IASB in the US) was by the legendary stallion Salaa El Dine and out of the multi champion mare Imperial ImPhayana (Ansata Imperial x Imperial Phanadah).
Shahir was a great ambassador for the Egyptian Arabian breed and produced many champions and whose sons and daughters are much treasured by their owners. Shahir was last owned by DeShazer Arabians who gave him a wonderful home for the last years of his life.
