We were very sorry to learn about the passing of Mrs. Barbara Griffith, the founder and owner of the Imperial Egyptian Stud. Some of the horses that Mrs. Griffith bred at Imperial over the years took a significant part in the foundation of our breeding program; including such great horses as Imperial Imdal, Imperial Kalatifa, Imperial ImPhayana, Imperial Imtiarah and Imperial Naffata. With Mrs. Barbara Griffith's passing, it seems that the final door has closed on a beautiful chapter of Egyptian Arabian horse breeding.
