Today, Al Maraam will begin his journey to the land of the pharaohs, which is also the land of his ancestors - ancient Egypt. At the start of his journey Maraam will stand for one month at Frank Sponle's Stables in Germany, and from there he will continue on to Egypt where he will stand at the world-famous Al Badeia Stud. Al Badeia was established 75 years ago by the Marei family, and was Egypt's first privately-owned Arabian Stud; today it can claim to be the longest operating privately-owned straight Egyptian breeding programs anywhere in the world.
