Great news from the Gulf: At the International show in Sharjah (UAE), our home-bred Badawieh AA (Laheeb x Bahiha) won the Junior Champion Filly title. Badawieh AA is owned by Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, UAE. Two Laheeb's grandsons also took top honors: Champion Colt was Kabsztad (by the Laheeb son Poganin), bred and owned by Michalow Stud and on lease to Athba Stud from Saudi Arabia; the Reserve Champion was the Al Lahab son El Palacio VO, bred by Manny and Diana Vierra and owned by Al Khalediah Stables.
