At the 2008 Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship, Badawiya AA stood second in her class with a great score of 91.6 behind 2007 World Champion Filly, Layan Al Khalediah, who ended up as the 2008 Dubai International Arabian Horse Champion Filly.
After a break from showing, Loubna was back, better than ever. She swept her class for first place with 94.3 points (the highest score of the show!) and took the title 2008 Dubai International Arabian Horse Champion Mare against some of the world's best mares, including Venetzia, Bass Faizah, Magora, Panarea by Palawan, Col Cora, Athenaa, Passionata and Deska HJE.
For the second year in a row a horse from our breeding program was named champion at one of the world's best shows. Last year it was Al Lahab for his owners the Friedmann Family of Germany; this year it was Loubna for her proud owner Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. Our congratulations to the owners of these fine horses. Photo of Loubna by Irina Filsinger.
