At the World Championships in Paris Al Lahab (Laheeb x The Vision HG) was proclaimed the winner of the ECAHO Cup trophy. This was a great ending for a truly wonderful year for Al Lahab: In the USA he won Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion, and two months later in Europe he won Champion Stallion title at the Elran Cup - Borloon. Following this he was Champion Stallion at the Towerlands International Show and then Champion Stallion at the 24th All Nations Cup in Aachen. The year's finale was Al Lahab becoming the unanimous choice of the judges as World Champion Stallion in Paris.
Al Lahab is owned by the Friedmann Family of Germany and is the second horse from our breeding program to win the prestigious ECAHO Cup. In 2004 Loubna became the first Ariela-bred horse to win this title.
