The Egyptian Event Europe was a huge success for the country of Israel, which achieved 2nd in the Nation's Cup Ranking of the show. Even more amazing is that this honor was earned with only three horses; two from Ariela Arabians and one owned by Eli Arad.
A son and daughter of Imperial Imdal, both bred by Ariela Arabians, took top honors, with the stallion Mosalli, winning Egyptian Event Europe Champion Stallion, Supreme Champion Stallion, and Breeder's Cup Champion Stallion. Mosalli was also the highest scoring horse of the show! Loubna was named Egyptian Event Europe Reserve Champion Mare behind the unforgettable Elf Layla Walayla, a former Reserve World Champion.
Also, the filly Pyramid Laneya, sired by the Ariela-bred stallionAl Lahab (Laheeb x The Vision), was chosen as the Reserve Champion Filly of the show and also won the Most Classic Head class. She is owned by Ujw Arabians of Germany. Photo of Mosalli by Karen Kasper.
