Paris News - Part One (of three)
Last weekend we showed our homebred colt, Fajer AA at the Arabian World Championships in Paris. Fajer is a son of Shanghai EA and out of another Ariela homebred, the lovely Fadwa AA.
Fajer had a wonderful year competing in the show ring - He was named Bronze Champion at the Global Champions Arabians Tour in Valkenswaard and took the same title again, in Rome. Two months ago Fajer was named Gold Champion Junior Colt at the All Nations Cup in Aachen, Germany where he earned scores of perfect 20's on movement from all the judges.
In Paris, once again Fajer showed himself in a spectacular fashion and was named Second in his class behind former World Champion Baz Aljassimya, with the great score of 92.86. The next day, at the Championships, Fajer again gave an exceptional performance and was eventually named 2024 Bronze Champion Junior Colt!
What a great achievement for this colt - we honestly feel that he is one of those special colts that has it all: a “fairytale” look with a beautiful head and good legs, great overall conformation, a proper tail with that long tail bone that translates into perfectly straight tail carriage, and extreme, 4 X 4 movement! Beyond that, he simply loves to show off and strut his stuff in the showring.
Fajer’s longtime handler, Tom Oben, did an absolutely amazing job of presenting him at his very best in Paris.
We wish to thank Tom, Mussa and the whole devoted Obi Training Center team for all the hard work they did with our Fajer over these past three years! Each of you has had a huge part in Fajer's successes! Thank you from the heart!
