After several years without a show dedicated to Straight Egyptian Arabian horses in Israel, it was a pleasure to see the return of this special event. The 2026 Israeli Egyptian Event, held last weekend in Ra'anana, brought together approximately 150 Straight Egyptian Arabian horses, celebrating the beauty, quality, and heritage of these remarkable bloodlines. Ariela Arabians was represented by several horses from our own breeding program, and we are very pleased to share their achievements.

Although one of our weanling fillies unfortunately had to be withdrawn from the competition due to lameness, her stablemate, Nowruz AA (Shams Al Din AA × Nashwah AA), enjoyed a successful show debut. She won her age group and went on to be named Silver Champion Filly Foal. Another promising youngster, Nile Adeeb AA (Al Ayal AA × Nile Massa AA by Kenz Al Baydaa), also made us proud, earning the title of Silver Champion Colt Foal.

Our two-year-old colt, Sharaam AA (Naseem Al Rashediah × Sofiya AA by Al Ayal AA), delivered an excellent performance, winning his class with an impressive score of 92.33 points, including three scores of 19.5 for movement. Our three-year-old colt, Mader Al Shams AA (Shams Sharav AA × Nashwah AA), was equally successful, securing first place in his class. Both colts went on to achieve excellent results in the Junior Colt Championship, with Sharaam AA claiming the Silver Champion title and Mader Al Shams AA being awarded Bronze Champion. We are particularly pleased with the achievements of these two young stallion prospects, both representing the next generation of our breeding program.

In the senior mare division, our ten-year-old Ajayeb AA (Shams Sharav AA × El Katreen Nada) won the class for mares aged ten years and older, adding another class victory to our results.

One of the most rewarding moments of the show was seeing Baahir AA (Al Ayal AA × Badriyah AA) return to the show ring after several years away from competition. Baahir made a wonderful comeback, winning his age group and later being named Bronze Champion Stallion. It was especially satisfying to see him performing so well once again.

Mader Al Shams AA was beautifully presented by Mundhir Kinnan, while all our other horses were expertly presented by Uri Shaked. We sincerely appreciate the professionalism, dedication, and care with which they handled our horses throughout the event. Our heartfelt thanks go to the teams of Samer Awsat Training Center and Uri Shaked Training Center for their excellent work and commitment, as well as to our own dedicated team at Ariela Arabians, whose hard work and careful preparation played an important part in these results.

Beyond the individual achievements, it was particularly encouraging to see so many Straight Egyptian Arabian horses gathered together in the show ring once again. We hope this event marks the beginning of a renewed tradition and many more opportunities to celebrate and promote the Straight Egyptian Arabian horse in Israel.
