We are happy to report that Kamal's long trip from the UK is over and that he is settling in well at his new home.
Kamal's dam Shaula carries the very same tail-female line as one of our foundation mares: The Vision HG. Both The Vision and Shaula trace back to the prolific Egyptian broodmare El Ameera (Nazeer x Zaafarana), a foundation mare for the Nasr's Marei Al Badeia Stud, near Cairo. El Ameera is a full sister to the important American imports Talal and Ansata Bint Zaafarana. Zaafarana is a direct tail-female descendant of the extremely influential Saklawi Jedraniyah Egyptian root mare Radia. We look forward to seeing the results of doubling up on this significant bloodline.

We are proud to announce the lease of the Norwegian-bred multi-champion straight Egyptian stallion Kamal (Authentic Kharazi x Shaula), who will be joining our stallion battery for the 2012/2013 breeding season.
Kamal's sire is Authentic Kharazi, a son of the legendary Maysoun, the only stallion in Germany to sire ten sons who won gold medals at the German Stallion Licensing tests. Kharazi's dam is the famous Kaliya (Al Kidir x Kaythara Halima), known as one of the breed's most beautiful and athletic mares. From his dam's side, Kamal traces to well-known Filsinger breeding thru Zahi Ibn Maymoon, a son of Maymoon and Zeenah, adding valuable rare old German bloodlines to an excellent pedigree.
Kamal's dam line traces tail-female through Zaafarana to Radia (Feysul x Ghazala) and back to the 1887 Ali Pasha Sharif root mare Bint Helwa, a Saqlawiyah Jidraniyah of the marbat of Ibn Sudan strain.
Kamal has been shown with great success and his show record includes 2004 Norwegian National Champion Colt and “Best in Show”, 2005 Most Classic Head Champion at the Egyptian Event Europe, 2008 Gold Ch. at the Norwegian Nationals and “Best Norwegian Bred”, 2009 Most ClassicHead Champion at the Egyptian Event Europe, 2009 Silver Champion at the Egyptian Event Europe, 2010 Bronze Champion Stallion at the Liverpool Spring Show - UK, Silver Champion stallion at the Hocon C International Show - UK and 2011 Silver Champion Stallion at the Egyptian Event Europe (93.5 P.).
We wish to thank Kamal's owner, Ms. Nena Bjerke from Norway for letting us use her beloved stallion in our breeding program. A special thank you to Mr. Chris Lowe, who was instrumental in turning our interest in leasing Kamal to the reality of him now joining us for two breeding seasons here in Israel.

We wish to congratulate Al Thumama Stud on acquiring one of our stud's best mares, Lamis AA . This young mare is the produce of the only cross between the two show champions, Luiba (Imperial Imdal x Imperial Kalatifa) and Ali Valentino (Ruminaja Ali x Moniet). Lamis' pedigree includes some of the breed's finest horses, a truly royal pedigree.
Lamis produced some great foals for us by Nader Al Jamal and Laheeb. We are keeping Lamis's 2011 Laheeb filly, Laliiq AA, as a replacement for her beautiful dam. We hope Laliiq AA will continue the heritage of her dam Luiba, her granddam - Imperial Kalatifa and her grand grandam - AK Latifa. This famly has left a legendary mark on our breeding program.
Lamis is in foal to Laheeb for a 2012 foal and we hope she and this upcoming foal will give Al Thumama Stud a lot of success and joy.

Twenty-five years ago, his grandsire, Imperial Imdal, was named Egyptian Event Supreme Champion stallion for the first time, and four years later Imdal earned this title again.
Twenty years later, his sire Laheeb (Imperial Imdal x AK Latifa) was named Egyptian Event Reserve Supreme Champion stallion and, that same year, his full brother, Al Lahab (Laheeb x The Vision HG), was named Egyptian Event Supreme Champion stallion.
And this year, this year it was Al Raheb AA (Laheeb x The Vision HG) who wore the golden roses at the Kentucky Horse Park and brought home the tile of 2011 Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion.
According to pedigree researcher Arlene Magid, Al Raheb AA and Al Lahab are the only full brothers to both win the Egyptian Event Supreme Stallion Championship. Just as Laheeb and Al Lahab are the only father and son to be Supreme Champion Stallions at the Egyptian Event.

We wish to warmly congratulate Muhsen Onallah, Al Raheb's proud owner; Raymond Mazzei who is currently leasing Al Raheb AA; and all the people who gave their support and help to bring this young stallion to such great achievements and success.

Yes, we can!
Three horses from our breeding program competed last weekend at the 2011 Dubai International Championships, which is one of only five ECAHO 'Title Shows', and considered to be one of the most competitive shows in the world. These horses included Badawieh AA, who was awarded 2nd Place (93.6 points) in her age class behind the 2010 World Champion FT Shaella; Loubna, who won 1st in her class with 94.5 points; and Al Ayal AA, who was 1st in his class with 93 points.

We take great pleasure in announcing that at the end of the show the judges awarded Loubna with the title Gold Champion Mare and Al Ayal AA with the title Gold Champion Colt. Al Ayal (Al Ayad x The Vision HG) also won the Most Classic Head award.
We are so very proud to be able to say that horses from our breeding program have now won FIVE Gold Championships in what is considered one of the world's most important Arabian shows.

So, YES, WE CAN! This latest Dubai show has proven that even in today's toughest Arabian competitions, Straight Egyptian horses -- and horses from small breeding programs -- can compete and win in open shows. We may not always find ourselves in the winner's circle, but we will keep trying to breed the best possible Straight Egyptian horses.
We wish to thank Ajman Stud, Frank Sponle, Elisa Grassi and all the people who worked so tirelessly to make all this possible. Thank you and congratulations!

We are very happy to present some photos of Al Ayal's (Al Ayad x The Vision HG), first-born foal, who is bred and owned by Ajman Stud. This beautiful filly is out of the mare Bint Delavida (Ansata Sinan x Om El Deladiva), and we are very pleased with the great promise she shows. Al Ayal is currently abroad, being campaigned at halter and covering some excellent mares. This very striking young stallion will be an important herd sire for us upon his return home, not only because of his extreme quality and type, but because of the rare Old German bloodlines he carries through his sire. These include many rare yet influential foundation horses such as Mahomed, Machmut, and the legendary mare Mahameh, as well as the direct Ansata Halim Shah son Maysoun. Our congratulations to Ajman Stud on this beautiful filly!

Sokkarah, goes back to rare old EAO bloodlines. We wish Tom and Eline much success with this promising colt and look forward to seeing him in the show ring in the future.

We are pleased to announce that our homebred stallion Al Raheb AA (Laheeb x The Vision HG), proudly owned by Muchsen Onallah, has safely arrived at Furioso Farm in California where he is on lease to Raymond Mazzei. Al Raheb is a multi-champion in Israel, including several prestigious championships at both the Israeli Egypt Event and our National Championship shows over several years; his latest win was that of 2010 Bronze Champion Stallion at our Israeli National Championship Show last October.
